WELCOME TO
It all started...
Crafty Cranks & Board Shop began nearly a decade ago as a backroom side project in Crafty Drafts, a local bar. When the bar was sold, we hit the road, transforming our iconic van into a mobile skate and bike shop. Around the same time, we made the personal decision to embrace sobriety. That choice shaped the future of Crafty: when we opened our brick-and-mortar shop, we began serving alternative beverages instead of alcohol. It wasn’t long before we built a community of like-minded, sober-friendly patrons who share our passion for bikes, boards, and good vibes.

Meet Eric
Eric is our skateboarding expert with years of experience. His dedication to the sport and product knowledge ensure that you receive the best advice for your skateboarding needs.
Meet Bek
Bek is a Charleston native and our newest bartender. Skating with longboards, roller skates, and ice skates, Bek loves the culture. Sober at the ripe age of 19, Bek found a community at our Sobar.

Say hello to Gary, our operations ace. He's here to assist you in finding the perfect skateboard, bike, or accessory, making your shopping experience enjoyable and hassle-free.
Meet Doc
New York native. Doc is our in house "wrenchman". Tall bike enthusiast and builder, Doc builds, fixes and rides tall bikes (and just about all other kinds aside from electric).
